Rack & Riddle offers complete grape-to-bottle, base-to-bottle, and private label wine a programs (also known as "shiners"), and houses nearly 2 million gallons of stainless steel storage and fermentation vessels. An exceptional winemaking team produces 1.2 million cases of wine annually. Rack & Riddle was founded in 2007 in Mendocino County by wine industry veterans Bruce Lundquist and Rebecca Faust, with just eight employees. Today Rack & Riddle has three facilities in Sonoma County and more than 60 employees. In addition to its custom crush and private label business, Rack & Riddle also has a brand of four sparkling wines . These bubblies, crafted by Executive Director of Winemaking Penny Gadd-Coster, have garnered 18 Gold and Best of Class awards in the past three years alone. While there is not currently a Rack & Riddle tasting room, these wines can be purchased on the website, which has low-cost shipping options as well as a pickup-at-the-winery option.

Breathless Wines
In 2011, Rack & Riddle co-founder Rebecca Faust was thrilled to partner with sisters Sharon Cohn and Cynthia Faust to launch Breathless Wines, creating sparkling wines that help people celebrate and remember those moments in life that leave you breathless.

In that vein, Breathless Wines is a memorial to their mother, Martha, a local teacher and philanthropist who understood the importance of living life to the fullest. Breathless supports bringing awareness to the disease that afflicted their mom: Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, as well as partnering with more than a dozen charitable organizations that primarily serve to support women, health education, and children in our communities.

Breathless, like any of the other winery clients at R&R, contracts Rack & Riddle to make the specific Breathless wines. Each year, Breathless sources only the best grapes from the Los Carneros, Dry Creek and North Coast appellations, AVAs renowned for producing grapes of the highest caliber. Having honed in on the best vineyards, and within those the best clones, allows the personality across vintages to achieve consistency. The different soil types in the region add complexity to the fruit.

A temporary, "pop-up" tasting room has been established for Breathless at the Rack & Riddle Alexander Valley facility, located at 4001 Hwy 128 in Geyserville. Breathless is launching an Indiegogo fundraiser to build its new 1920s inspired tasting room space in Healdsburg – the tasting room will be dedicated to educational and fundraising events for Breathless' non-profit partners.
