Housed in a 1906 Victorian building with many antique fixtures still in place and filled with pieces from local artists, the Saw Shop Gallery Bistro was opened by Marie Beery in 2001. With its warm and rustic charm, the bistro quickly became a favorite for both locals and tourists in Northern California. Local chef Jeremy Zabel has created a seasonal menu, focusing on local ingredients, fresh seafood and the finest meats and game available. The menu reflects changes in the seasons, availability and exciting and fun new ideas unique to the Saw Shop and our local area. The wine list showcases many of the varietals that have made Lake County California's next great wine region. We proudly feature Lake County wines and are a huge supporter of locally grown produce, goods and services. We believe investing in our community is the best part of our business and strive to uphold the highest standards and quality. We feature Lake County's most extensive local wine list. Encompassing dozens of wineries, appelations and vintages, the Saw Shop continues to work primarily with local wine makers to produce a stunning and ecclectic wine experience. The full Bar, created by local craftsmen using Lake County Walnut, features 4 beers on tap and a wide variety of classic and creative new cocktails.For special events and private parties, the bistro also features a full size banquet room.
